Rhythm Safari is a music label, publishing and production company based in Sydney, Australia. 

Our catalogue spans a wide spectrum, from Johnny Clegg to Carole King to Foreigner.

We have a direct deal for distribution via iTunes & all other digital distribution is handled via The Orchard. 

Physical distribution for Australia, New Zealand & South Africa is handled by Universal Music.

 

Rhythm Safari was originally formed in Los Angeles in the early '90's by veteran producer Hilton Rosenthal who has worked with diverse artists including Johnny Clegg, Paul Simon, Carole King, Harry Belafonte, Foreigner and Christopher Cross.

January 2000 - Launched yourmobile.com – web portal for downloading of entertainment media to wireless devices – #1 service provider of mobile entertainment for carriers in North America - company sold to Vivendi Universal Networks USA in January 2002 and renamed Moviso. Company later acquired by Infospace and renamed Infospace Mobile.

First company in USA to sell a secure music download, December 1996. Consultants and developers for AT&T’s a2b digital music delivery platform.
